Children's Author Terry Golson and her Speckled Sussex Hen Visits NGES Pre-K and Kindergarten Students!

Picture
On January 11th we will welcome children’s author Terry Golson and her hen Tillie to North Grafton Elementary School.  Terry will read her book, Tillie Lays an Egg, to preschool and kindergarten students.    This story chronicles a day in the life of a sweet, independent hen. Students will learn some interesting facts about chickens. You may view Tillie and her friends at her home on Little Pond Farm by viewing her chicken coup on the hencam.com. We are grateful to the NGES staff, families and PTG for their support of enrichment opportunities such as this which expand learning beyond the classroom.
