Mrs. Tynan's Summer Reading Program

Dive into Reading!

This summer reading program is sponsored by Mrs. Tynan.

Here is how it works:
If a student reads 20 books AND completes at least a "book report" on 10 of them, Mrs. Tynan and the student get to have breakfast together!

Pancake Summer Breakfast is Friday, September 17th. Don't forget to turn in your fish book reports!

1st Annual Walk-A-Thon: Sponsored by Any Time Fitness! The students will be given the oppoortunity to walk a course during recess over a one week period. We ask that each student get sponsors for the number of laps they walk. Proceeds will go toward the purchase of snow shoes for the students to utilize during physical education classes and recess time. Any remaining proceeds would go to the PTG to support enrichment programs, classroom materials, grants, and field trips. Also, special prizes will be awarded to the classroom with the most number of laps!
When: September 13-17th Sponsor money collected by: September 24th

Current Happenings

Fall Book Fair: The Scholastic Fall Book Fair is coming back to NGES fron September 27th to October 1st located in the school library. Be sure to stock up on your children's favorite authors and titles! Volunteers are always needed and appreciated for this event.

Pizza & Game Night: Come join us for pizza and games! Held Friday night, October 15th. This is a fun event you don't want to miss! More information to come soon.

NGES PTG Mission statement

North Grafton Elementary is a community of learners where academic, social and personal growth is valued and nurtured. Together we value: Respect for self and others, a positive attitude towards learning, and a strong academic foundation. When our children leave North Grafton Elementary School , we want them to be respectful, productive and responsible students.

All parents and guardians of children enrolled at North Grafton Elementary School are automatic voting members of the PTG. The principal and all members of the staff at North Grafton Elementary School are automatic voting members of the PTG. There are no annual membership dues.
